Think for myself. I get more left wing as I get older. Always independence. Don't suffer fools gladly. Retired nurse ( RMN). No DMs unless I give consent and automatic block if you do it anyway. Block for anyone who asks for money. This is not the place.

The calibre of politicians in general is very low in all areas of the UK. The dishonesty of the two main parties and their arrogant sense of entitlement allenates people. I've got to the stage where I just want to ignore them all and pretend its not as bad as it is. Cowardly, yes, but how I now cope.

Badenoch and Starmer are just a reflection of the dire state of UK politics. Throughout the UK, the inept, ineffectual, and unprincipled now dominate politics and are the servants of the vested interests and establishment. Some things got to give.

The less fortunate residents may not have voted for the Tories, but that's really beside the point. Once again,it's the less fortunate and vulnerable who will suffer and will be made to pay the price. Punishing the poor because they may vote for your opponent is actually a very Tory way of thinking.

There's a reason viewing figures for this terrible programme are tumbling. Look at the majority of the panel, and you'll see why. Add to that the political bias and patronising nature of Fiona Bruce, and there really is no reason to watch it.

We're asking for a bus service in a very rural area that will allow poorer folk without a car to get about. If that's a marvellous thing, then God help us.

Exactly the same.

And yet they still expect our votes because we support independence despite them doing very little to get us there. All the it's not our fault stuff. It just doesn't fly anymore.

That's the type of person that makes up the govt. Too compliant and rule bound to make a real difference and becoming increasingly more alien to those of us who don't come from that background.

The Scottish govt should intervene and not stand back and let a Tory council impose misery on the poorer folk in Dumfries and Galloway.Just another shrug of the shoulder moment from the SNP and its govt. It's already happened with Grangemouth and acceptancing the dictats and contempt of Westminster.

We're heading into a new feudalism. As the billionaires get more and more, the rest of us get less and less.

He's a silly self-important man. Too many of his kind in Scottish politics.

It's clear that the system in the UK is not fit for purpose, and the political parties and their deference to the elite are just a reflection of this dire situation. Labour was never going to reverse Thatcherism, which is now the orthodoxy. Where we go from here,God knows, but Labours not the answer.

Israel is so hypocritical and lies constantly. They're no longer credible and have killed tens of thousands of children in Gaza in the past 18 months. For them to adopt the moral high ground is nauseating. Elon Levy's smug and patronising defence of Israel does it no favours. Keep digging, Elon.

Exactly.SNP members need to remember that our votes have to be earned and not given as a right.I'm hearing it more and more from activists and members, and it gets my goat. I live with one who thinks that because I support Indy,it should be automatic. Reminiscent of Labours entitlement in the past.

If anything, it's got worse. The BBC, in particular,is more blatant in its bias with its parroting of Israeli propaganda and its cancelling of documentaries about Gaza. In Scotland,we get apology after apology for lack of impartiality, yet it happens again and again, and the newspapers are even worse.

Same here.

Robbie Gibb and other right wingers like him are in with the bricks at the BBC.Respected Journalists like Emily Maitlis left as a result of their bias and censorship.Farage and Reform match their mindset, and when Gibb overseas BBC impartiality, it highlights just how ridiculous the whole thing is.

When Robbie Gibb is the arbiter of BBC impartiality, it's hardly surprising that the Israeli lobby has such influence and power in the organisation. The BBC is out of date and no longer fit for purpose and in Scotland we get apology after apology about political bias but nothing changes .
