I honestly love the idea that like.. there's no mind control, there's no magic. The Dollmaker doesn't need such crude certainties.
Just firm hands ever correcting. Ever punishing transgressions. Ever rewarding acquiescence. Slowly but surely training your body to move to Her whims on reflex alone.
