I have lost my cool as well. This is insanity.

I’m in Oklahoma, but I call them incessantly. They must know there is dissent, even in one of the reddest states in the country.

What in the holy handmaid’s tale is this sh*t?!

No, it was toss up between who fawned over Mullin or Trump the most. I was ill listening to it.
comment in response to

I listened to the Mullin town hall. Of course, I wasn’t picked. The gaslighting was insane. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone.

Prior to the ACA, I worked as a contract landwoman. The only insurance offered was 800/mth and did not include coverage of a chronic stomach condition. ACA was a godsend. WE WON’T GO BACK! I felt safe with you as my President, and I could not begin to express my gratitude with mere words. -from OK

Call your Congressmen and women. Read the tweet to them and ask where they stand on a war with Canada, as essentially a trade war is war. Then demand impeachment. He is insane, and this has gotten way out of hand.

Trump is tanking our economy, purposefully. Silver linings, there won’t be any money to make war on our neighbors.

I am calling my reps daily. Only spending what I need. And I am so sorry.

I don’t speak to maga family, because I don’t parley with Russian sympathizing Nazis.

This is a coup. Be as loud and disrespectful as possible. Decorum must go.

This is a coup, act accordingly.

Do as South Korea did during their coup attempt. We are in the same situation.

Trump will just give it to him, don’t you worry.

I’m in Oklahoma, mine are even worse, but I still called and call weekly.

Once we are out of NATO, the U.S. has handed over billions due to the new economic partnership with Putin , and our Pentagon budget is destroyed, will be a fab time for an invasion, don’t you think? Or more likely, Trump will just give it to him.

They literally talk about it all the time.

He didn’t say that, and it’s going to cost us a hell of a lot more when Russia attacks (funded by our own tax dollars) Alaska which they threaten all the time on RT, a/k/a, the Fox News of Russia.

Called both of my moronic red state senators and let them have it

Who is this, and how do we contact him?
comment in response to

I called both my senators-red state morons- and said I just witnessed the most disgusting display by a U.S. President in the history of this country. Please call, it does make a difference.

The fact that a black 4 star General with stellar credentials was just removed as Chairman of the JCOS and replaced with an unqualified white male is a great example of why DEI was enacted.

You are more than entitled to your feel ings, and I am angry as well, but if we are going to stop the coup, I think we are going to need some of the 77 million who voted for him to see the light.

Breaking from a cult-like mentality isn’t easy.
comment in response to

That may be true, but anyone we can turn from this mindset is a win in my book.

Small convos over time mostly. Everything I said Trump would do, he is doing. I think some people think it hyperbole, so seeing what I said would happen in regards to Ukraine, tariffs, immigrants, etc. actually happen helped wake him. But the possible shutdown of dept of ed was the big one for him
comment in response to

I am so so sorry. I am afraid some may be too far entrenched.
comment in response to
post
I will say he was never as hardcore as some I know though. I do think the level a person is entrenched in it makes a difference too.
comment in response to

I hope you get yours back as well. I found it worked to be really matter of fact about issues close to his heart. For instance, I would say if the dept of ed is shut down and your son’s IEP is cancelled, I know a therapist that charges 100/hr for at home visits and he was like, wait, what?

I think the attacks on the dept of education. His son is autistic.

The reality of the situation broke through to my MAGA brother. It can be done!

1. Stole chickens from my in-laws farm
2. Calculated the child support payments Elon Musk owes
3. Called my Congressman and asked if he was aware his job was to appropriate federal funds.
4. Looked up the side effects of ketamine and viagra
5. Anointed myself king of my office

I called my Congressman’s office and asked sarcastically if he was aware of that power, then I said that if he planned to turn that Constitutionally mandated duty over to Trump he needed to go on home because if he isn’t going to do his job, the taxpayers should not have to pay his salary.

American here, in a very red state.. I make daily calls to my senators and friends and family. My MAGA brother has turned the corner. Every American needs to commit to one act a day in service of democracy.
