I didn't think so. I thought it had some really good tension but no real scares. There's some blood/gore, but it wasn't excessive or over the top imo.
I'd classify it more as suspense rather than horror.

Inventory management is a nightmare for sure 😂 4 was really fun. I remember 3 being my favorite, but I don't remember much about it.
I do know I'm terrible at the first game, I started the remastered version of that and was instantly reminded 😅 I might end up skipping to 2 for now >.>
