Miller recently erupted at ICE officials, demanding 3,000 deportations a day. He's now redeploying thousands of agents from other agencies like Homeland Security Investigations, the FBI, and DEA.

There's a big gulf between ideologues like Miller and the mass public here. Miller believes the mere presence of undocs in the USA poses a civilizational emergency to "the west." But most voters don't see peaceful undocs as a threat. Dems should exploit this. 6/

The reason Trump/Miller are shifting law enforcement resources from serious crimes into removals is that they *really believe* the mere presence of peaceful undocs here is an urgent national emergency. Voters would reject these priorities. Ds should lay this bare. 7/
