A few flower pics from today’s garden. Siberian iris, verbascum, baptisia, and monarda.

This year’s clematis collection. It’s been a good spring for them. 🌱

This continues to look problematic. Higher elevation scans so close to the radar could look even worse.

This looks like trouble heading toward the south side of the Quad Cities.

Something about the combination of yellow, purple, and red really makes for a nice, bright display. 🌱

So dad gets called on to produce a dinner which is risky business in this house. Bavarian weisswurst, mashed potatoes and white gravy, and of course, cauliflower.

Just a little smoky across the Upper Midwest this morning.

Not all climate is about climate change. Cuts to NOAA's and NWS's budget and NSF funding will impact the ability to learn things like this. www.climate.gov/news-feature...
