That’s a helluva cover

This is a classic @theonion.com-style "Private equity firms are bad for America" (by a journalist, the book author) vs "No they aren't" (by a managing director at a private equity firm, the reviewer) point-counterpoint

Thread

For the first time in years, I don't have a regular contract income, so I'm taking on one-off gigs as short-term sources, and soft relaunching my Patreon with Gyro Shooter, which is my own original IP. You can pitch in there to help or join for free and see what you think: patreon.com/cambanks

Sean Nittner walks you through the changes I recently implemented for the Blades in the Dark sheet on Roll20 www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymg_...

Okay. So. I really want to show you Daggerheart if you haven't tried it out yet. Like. So much that I figured out a way to raise some money for charity? Gay charity? (Happy Pride!) I have three special listings. They're not on the site. You can only get them from me (but also right here.)

Why is it always "you need to learn how to take a joke," and never "I need to learn to read the fucking room"?

Re: that last re-blusk @ndpdesign.com and I spent about 8 years talking about this concept of "business" on the Two Hundred a Day podcast because the makers of the Rockford Files were so damn good at giving business to all manner of incidental characters. It got so ingrained in us...

Part of the problem here is that people refuse to accept that indie games (in the production, not genre sense) are as valuable and can justify the same cost as the bigger companies. I've spent $20 on single designer PDFs and they were still cheap at the price.

I had the same experience, and Andrew lays it out perfectly. This game is great.
