Always always always take the arrivals loop. The departures loop is for suckers.

Y’all have got to stop being played by Nezza. No one cares that she sang the Spanish version of the Star Spangled Banner. Not the fans in attendance, Dodgers fans in general, nor Dodgers management. She’s drumming up “controversy” for attention and it’s working.

People have been calling out the perniciousness of “prosperity theology” and Joel Olsteen and his ilk for quite a while now.

The new (non-Farmer John’s) Dodger Dogs are so unbelievably bad.

To a CEO, there’s a bigger downside to missing out on a trend that goes big than to jump on the bandwagon, spend a lot of money, and have the trend fizzle out. They are massively incentivized to engage in bandwagon behavior for innovative tech, even if the ROI is uncertain.

Anytime you have to commute to an office to have a virtual meeting, that’s a bad meeting. This doesn’t solve that.

A stadium that’s only used for NFL games is only used 8 DAYS (!) in an entire year. That’s a terrible use of such a valuable space!

* I understand that the raw materials for TP are imported from Canada (10%). I mean that the impact to TP is likely to be less than other goods that are imported from China (145%) and/or by boat.
comment in response to

Absolutely this. People will say no need to stock up on TP because it’s not imported* forgetting that whenever there is even an appearance of scarcity PEOPLE DO NOT ACT RATIONALLY.

He can do both and should be doing both. Legacy media won’t reach out. Congressional comms staff reaches out to local news assignment desks. They are always looking for stories.

This is standing up. Connect GOP actions to the harms they will cause in the district. Hold events. Next step is to get as much (traditional) media as possible. Invite local news stations. Judy Chu (Pasadena) is doing this last part really well lately.

I would love to know who in the SFV, SCV, or Antelope Valley is pushing for more crypto deregulation. It certainly wasn’t in any of his campaign materials. I know he likes to think of himself as the science/NASA guy. This is not that. Meanwhile NASA, NOAA are being gutted and its silence from him.

I can’t finish my taxes because I can’t get a 1099 from my brokerage firm because I’m invested in a mutual fund that holds US bonds and they can’t get data from the US Treasury. The expected date keeps getting pushed back. This has never happened to me in 15 years of owning bonds.

So… literally nothing about the chaos and dysfunction being sown by Elon Musk and DOGE and the dismantling of the executive branch. Absolute cowardice.

Use your reach to elevate local reporters who are working tirelessly to report the news straight and make sure people have the information they need to remain safe, which is so much more valuable than a take from the WSJ or cable news.

We have seen this before in SoCal. They are never rebuilt in the same form. They are rebuilt to the maximum allowable square footage for the area. Imagine every home in that picture instead being 10,000 square feet.
