Lord knows I made plenty of mistakes in the indiscretions of youth. Thankfully none were unforgivable and very few were mean spirited. In the 1960s South you either learned to accept or you got stuck there. Unfortunately many are still stuck.

Colon cancer survivor since 2001. I’d have to say Alzheimer’s is arguably even worse. We lost my mama in October and it was wrenching to watch her lose her health and life memories. I pray for folks with both of these heinous diseases.
