My mom is from rural PA and she says "you 'uns" which I think is a variation on the more urban "yinz" from the same state.

Any thoughts on My Fair Lady? Asking for my brother-in-law.

The scene where they are marching in formation and Stan instigates getting them all to change which foot they are starting from pops into my head whenever I see any group marching.

Buster Keaton did it first.

I would have preferred "illegal." That right there is an example of why I cancelled my subscription.

Maybe some people have you confused with Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys. (RIP)

It's okay. It was just a joke. You know, like the way the heads of hospitals joke about not knowing that cancer can be fatal, or a firefighter joking about not knowing the risk of carbon monoxide. Funny, right?

So much for leaving the question of abortion up to the states.

But we're still going to have tarrifs on textiles? Why?

He doesn't want to go to hearings or floor votes or town halls? What does he think a Senator is worried l supposed to do?

It's the Republican small government that stays out of people's business, right? Except for everyone they disagree with.

So this is allowed now? Can other federal employees bring their kids to work and be praised for it?

I guess they'll have to wait for Marco Rubio to have a spare minute.

All these GOP centrists are about to be labeled RINOs and given the heave ho by the MAGAs.

Why is it always girls and dolls? Why isn't it kids and sports? Men and guns? Families and food? They are using infantilism and misogyny to belittle anyone who isn't rich and will suffer with these tarrifs.

That has happened to me as well! Cyndi Lauper or Roy Orbison?

He's like the kid giving the book report who never read the book, but he doesn't even understand the words in the title, either.

Humor is dead. Reality is so absurd that when someone makes a ridiculous joke, like Trump as Pope or renaming the Gulf of Mexico, some ass goes, "Dur. That's a good idea."

Did you see Robert Osbourn’s interview with Angela Lansbury? She was still salty that she was passed over by Warner Bros. for this movie. At least Julie Andrews got Mary Poppins after Audrey Hepburn was picked for My Fair Lady.

I just listened to Mel Brooks' autobiography. It's great! You feel like he's there telling you his life story, his favorite jokes and songs. I know most of his movies, but there are a few Brooks Productions movies I want to check out now too that I have missed. My Favorite Year is one of them.
