46 M/mi for a steel wall in the desert. Horrible. What an incredible grift. Other countries are drilling 40mi dual rail tunnels through a mountain massif for that kind of money and at the same time DOT is cancelling vital infra like CHSR. Crazy

And with the end of A330ceo production (and availability of used A330-200 frames) Airbus would love a launch customer for the NEO-based MRTT+.

For HansUllrich to take Poland seriously it first needs to rise into the esteemed league of countries that have officially received their ultra-stereotypical racist DER SPIEGEL “the threat from country X” cover story

But during negotiations on EV tariffs, the Chinese side has already offered to implement a quota, that would increase in line with rising demand in the EU market.
So if EV demand goes up 10% per year, then so does the quota for Chinese cars.

As a former resident of the PRC and frequent visitor to SEA it’s a continuing struggle to explain to Alman-Lisa/Lukas that yes authentic everyday cuisine contains loads of monosodiumglutamate in the form of smelly fishsauce and heartburn levels of chilies.

Yes, the cavalier disregard for assets collectively built up through intergenerational labor and in this case joint sacrifice reminds me of the Obama-era controversy over "You didn't build that." But at least they didn't go out and tear up the roads out of pique.

Iirc every western OEM was forced to enter a JV with a Chinese partner pre-Tesla. Seems only fair that EU wants tech transfer, local supply chains, not just assembly of knockdown kits in Szeged. Investigation should also extend to customs-exempt countries like Turkey (Marisa/Izmir BYD plant)

MBDA feels more like 4 independent divisions with their own products and ip than an integrated company like Airbus. SAMP/T NG could in time certainly become the long range component of an integrated Euro AA network but that might require to increase no of tech/peoduction stakeholders, not just 🇫🇷🇮🇹

A lot of prices, tourist related stuff but also things like cars have been set in euro in Turkey for a long time. Today the price level has partially overtaken that of Western Europe due to Inflation and absurd indirect tax hikes. Vacationing in Greece is certainly cheaper nowadays.
