For #showmeyourknits this week the subject is yellow - a color that I am apparently beginning to use more and more in my colorwork. 🧶

I spent the weekend without internet. Forced to unplug (literally), I flew through this Galatee sweater in Berroco Dash while bingeing three audiobooks. 🧶 Pattern: Galatee by Berroco Yarn: Berroco Dash in Blue Mountains Needles: US 10 and US 11 www.ravelry.com/projects/Reb...

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

Crashing my friend’s pool like a responsible adult: brought snacks, supervised the kids… and snuck in a few stealthy rows on my Galatee sweater. 🧶 www.ravelry.com/projects/Reb...

Wrapped up my morning No Kings protest and am about to head out to an evening one. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

This cause is close to my heart - please sign: sign.moveon.org/petitions/re...

The yoke of the Azucena sweater by Nadia Crétin-Léchenne, knit in La Bien Aimée Corrie Worsted (Kitsune, Sandstone, Goldenrod, and Hegelia). I’m making it for my father-in-law’s 83rd birthday, with a few tweaks for a more masculine, boxy fit. 🧶 www.ravelry.com/projects/Reb...

It’s blocking day at my house—and the knitwear lineup is 🧶 Mine Sweater @greyowlknits.bsky.social Lowell Sweater @subitofarm.bsky.social Studio Sweater (by Ysolda Teague), using my hand-dyed yarn www.ravelry.com/projects/Reb... for more info!

Since getting our shittens, we've discovered a menagerie in the basement. We weren't surprised that there were mice. Then, Rum cornered a vole. This morning, Rye proudly brought me a snake. I think we need to do some work to seal up the house!

On the needles: the King Salmon Sweater by Boyland Knitworks, swimming along just in time for Father’s Day. Knit in Cascade 220 Aran, this yoke is so much fun to knit! #wipwednesday 🧶 Pattern: www.ravelry.com/projects/Reb... Yarn: Cascade 220 Aran Needles: US 7, US 5

Headed out for a long weekend, so naturally the first thing I packed was… all ten skeins of yarn. Clothes? Toothbrush? Eh, I’ll grab them eventually. Knitters know: it’s not overpacking if it’s yarn—you might need it. 🧶

Current knitting status: delayed due to tabby interference. Rye has claimed my chest as her throne, while Rum is snoozing soundly in top of my project bag. Yarn? Inaccessible. Needles? Trapped. Productivity? Purring. 🧶 #KnittingWithCats #CatObstacles #RumAndRye #YarnGuardians #TabbyTakeover

Omg, I am now going to be totally obsessed with dying my own yarn. This was so much fun! 🧶

When your bird feeder attacks but you refuse to let it ruffle your stitches. Currently knitting through the pain (and the suspense) in Urgent Care waiting to find out if my foot is broken (don’t think it is). Fortunately, the Lowell Sweater is coming along beautifully. 🧶

I wonder what will be on the syllabus: For Whom the Horn Honks? The Great Gas-by? The Old Rig and the Sea? Of Mice and Minivans? Lord of the Rigs? To Haul a Mockingbird? As I Lay Loading? East of Exhaust?
