Thanks, Chris. Wanted to build up a buffer in case the weather turns, but so far, it's remained pretty dry. If it carries on like this, I'll have to revise the target upwards!

I disagree re Clowes. Yes, he saved the club, but like us, he's just a fan, with no expertise in football.
Pearce is an accountant who was an integral part of the previous catastrophe.
Where is the proper football expertise at exec level? No DoF etc. A fundamental and myopic ommission imo.

Warne has already reached his glass ceiling. Whilst he remains #dcfc is, at best, treading water, but increasingly likely to sink.
When drowning is a risk, it's about how quickly you send for the lifeboat. If Clowes foolishly allows this to continue, then he deserves everything that's coming.

A travesty that 'certain suitors' were ignored by the Administrator, because it didn't suit Morris. It's now all unravelling before our eyes.

Time this deadbeat manager & his garbage football were both sent packing.
Clowes won't act, but even if he did, there's nobody at #dcfc capable of identifying a competent replacement. The CEO is an accountant who doesn't even understand the basic concept of paying tax!
A rudderless shiteshow.

It was. I'll always take cold, clear winter days over grey ones.

We certainly have. Often, they go hand in hand with the cold nights we're getting. Proper winter weather!

That's very kind. Thank you 🙂

I've left my account open to preserve some sentimental tweets, etc, and ensure nobody else can take my username.
There are a lot of people on here who still post on X, too. They must have their reasons, but imho it's about simple morality. Would they choose to subscribe to Nazi newspapers?

Musk is a psychopath.
How any decent person can continue to post on his site is beyond comprehension. He's using X in the same way that the Nazis used German newspapers pre-WW2.
He is a danger to humanity. Should he ever set foot in the UK, he needs to be arrested & charged with incitement.

I'm sorry to hear that, Joan. The loss of a child is something you can never prepare for.

Excellent question. We're now seeing the inevitable consequence. A manager who is out of his depth at this level, but sitting pretty!
Whether it was Clowes, Pearce or a combination of the two, it was utterly stupid. Lessons not learnt.

Relative to relegation, it's the cheap option.
Ah, the cricketers! More evidence that the club is run like Fawlty Towers.

I don't think it would make a jot of difference, Andy.
Given his decision to continue to reward a CEO who failed to understand the very basic concept that VAT/PAYE collected as agent should be paid to HMRC, I can only conclude that his judgement of people is very badly flawed.

Time for this one-dimensional manager to be gone; never mind the spark.
His record in this division is pathetic (particularly in away games).
If #dcfc had a robust strategic plan & proper football knowledge in the boardroom, they'd see that. Amateurs.

Warne has overseen 8 away wins in 77 Championship games; 6 of them behind closed doors. It's the equivalent of playing with 1 leg - makes every home game a cup-final.
There's no future in his Neanderthal approach to football either. If #dcfc had a robust strategic plan, he'd not be part of it.

We've had 3 days of heavy mist, Ian. The downside of sitting in a valley.

Yes, we've had a fair amount of rain recently, so the river level is quite high.
