It's good that, despite the inflated user base, it's still a nice place to interact βΊοΈ
Hope you are well?

It definitely was! As for sycophant central... I hope they are truly enjoying themselves in the echo chamber they've created.

Literally drove past Holne Chase hill fort wood today! There's also another iron age fort by Cann Wood just outside Plymouth which is prohibited to walkers to "protect it." But loads of cattle can graze on it though π

Yup. 21st December 1988. It's one of the worst ways to remember something devastating like that. I still remember watching the news &, understandably, it overshadowed the day. Of course, as an 11 year old, you don't really see it like that.

Hahahaha!
I wish my optician had said that. Instead, they said I needed TWO pairs of glasses, readers AND distance. Bloody rude!

Like, I know you're right but I could do without the actual ageing but, you know? I haven't reached the stage where I groan when I get up *every time*, but I can tell it ain't far away! π

Oh bless you, thanks π anaphylaxis is horrible & scary, I don't recommend it as a hobby π shame though for her & everyone with severe allergies, especially if you have to give up something you love.

NOT YET! but soon, very soon ππ
Yesterday I was asked if I use fillers or Botox but, even if I wanted to, I couldn't. One, because I HATE needles and two, I have a history of anaphylaxis so practitioners wouldn't touch me with a 10 foot barge pole π

#OTD in 1986 I was still 8, but had a 7 day count down to my 9th birthday. I'm now on a 7 day count down to my 47th and I'm feckin furious about it π

Oh, she is. I wasn't mad at her, I was mad at myself for getting distracted π
She's so cute π and Dartmoor is beautiful. I'm thankful I get to drive across the moors everyday βΊοΈ

I had NO idea the lock function worked with the engine off. Lesson learned.
Here's the miniature beast of burden that ALMOST made me a believer of Friday 13th π

We tried to get Juno to step on the buttons on the dash to press the unlock. No dice. BUT she does manage to switch off the hazards, so there's that at least π
45 minutes later, Dave arrives & I can get into the car. Hurrah!
Then more crap happened at work, but at least this is funny π

So, in the meantime, a colleague brings me a spare coat & a cuppa, Juno is looking all chill & cute in the car, I'm trying to cover over the hazards (because they're still blinking) & trying to be as nonchalant as possible when one of my team arrives!

But, you see, it's a fair distance to work & all the roads to it have work going on & it's now almost 07:45 which is a SHIT time to be navigating Plymouth. Oh, & I'm on Dartmoor in December (which is fucking freezing) and my coat IS IN THE LOCKED CAR!
Did I mention there was much joy in this story?
