I had 4 slides in a major brief to senior leadership that I've been working on for 2 weeks with multiple rounds of feedback from like 3 levels of leadership and PMs. We rehearsed multiple times and had it timed to perfection. We ran out of time halfway through my first slide.

wake up bby, new vulnerability severity scoring system just dropped. #infosec #cybersecurity #cvss

Since security firms have gone quiet, let me say that @thekrebscycle.bsky.social was an exemplary 1st director of CISA & worked super hard to defend & protect the American people. The pineapple on pizza thing is still weird, but otherwise, I’m a fan. I stand with Chris. #defenddemocracy

If you can't answer the question "What problem are we trying to solve?", then your plan, presentation, meeting, objective, etc. doesn't actually have a point. Why should I waste my time if you can't tell me what my time is being spent on?

Who gave the Couch Cushion Commando a Rooty Tooty Point n' Shooty, and why does it have a Noisy No-No Nose? And does he really need the Looky Tube? If we're gonna infantilize guns, let's go whole hog.

I love responses from product teams that are like "here's the code snippet that protects from that thing. See, it's working!" Like bruh, that code looks like it SHOULD work, but I'm also holding a PCAP that explicitly shows it DOES NOT work. Maybe we could like... I dunno, test it?

These new Alexa updates are so wonderful. It was super friendly when it told me it set my three timers that it entirely ignored and made my kid late for school.

@wired.com was the magazineI loved at the bookstore as a geeky teen. I picked up a copy before every flight as a ritual. But I got bored with it as digital media became the faster way to consume tech news. It fell to obscurity in my mind. I just subscribed, print & digital. Welcome back to my eyes.
