This. In high school I wrote for the paper and wanted to be a journalist. I quickly realized the majority of media was far more interested in selling news regardless of the truth and changed course. It’s a business, not a service to the public.

Agree with most of what you wrote with the exception of your first sentence. There are plenty of people who would do this country a service by “sitting their butts down” regardless of their age, but suggesting all seniors do is hurtful to those still taking up the fight and there are plenty who do.
