I looked in to it and it seems like it might be a wrong input masquerading as a bug. So I’ve fixed the UI so that it communicates an appropriate message.

You can always ship another one!

It’s not going to happen, they’re just going to extend it again

For sure, it’s always a probabilistic thing. I think ML forces the product to work a certain way and that LLMs open up ways to make a better version by not being so rigid.

Additionally, I’m interested in the idea of having an LLM pick posts. You could just tell it what you want to see less or more of.

Agreed 100% and we have a similar problem on Skylight and it kills me so I’ve been thinking about this a lot. I think there is actually a shortcut to a decent Discover feed: see less. Each post gets labeled with a topic. Topics you have “see lessed” on at a high rate get thrown out.

Thanks for tagging me! I’ll look in to it ASAP

LeBron. It’s so wild for a 16 year old to be named the Chosen One and then to live up to those loftiest of expectations both on and off the court.

too many people confuse creativity with novelty

Oh definitely! The idea isn’t to get rid of likes - I’m just wondering if the like button needs to be covering the screen all the time

What if they’re still there but just 10% opacity?

What if Skylight faded the UI overlay as the video plays 🤔
comment in response to post
Hell yeah, just checked Discover and only saw one slop post!

I’ve always hated this problem. I wish there was a CLI tool that would mirror the repo but transform everything in to a package equivalent.

Thank you for making cool stuff!

I think it’s more than just brand recognition, they’re “the real thing” Everyone else (except Anthropic) feels like a poser by comparison. It’s a funny phenomenon, Gemini feels like Bing but Veo 3 doesn’t. But Claude also doesn’t even it doesn’t have ChatGPT’s brand recognition.

This is such a great feature!

Sometimes Discover is so good and sometimes it’s like this, it feels like I’m in an A/B test!

Thanks for giving us this feedback, it’s super helpful!

Damn, not a great sign. Just to confirm your screen looks like this right?

Are you saying you saw the new Sign In page for the second time? (The new Sign In page says “Sign In with Handle”)

Definitely and especially at that time when there was a soft luxury tax that so many teams wanted to exploit. If a team wants to sell their soul for Joakim Noah after 2014, let them!

The crazy thing about OKC is this team came from the Sonics (aka Presti) trading Rashard Lewis for a trade exception in 2007. - Which became Kurt Rambis + 2 firsts. - Which became Serge Ibaka. - Which became Oladipo + Sabonis. - Which became Paul George - Which became SGA and Jalen Williams’ pick.

@expo.dev is GOATed. That’s why sometimes we can just fix a bug in an hour - normally that’d take days!
