I was responsible for a huge cutover at work today. The supplier screwed it up a little, we also screwed it up a little. Then I got a harsh reminder that users can’t be trusted to follow step by step instructions. Or help each other.

Man soll im Wahllokal ja keine Kleidung tragen, die Partei-Zugehörigkeit erkennen lässt. Man stelle sich vor, das würde auch für Farben gelten. Also nichts schwarzes, nichts blaues/braunes, nichts rotes, grünes, pinkes, burgunderrotes, oder gelbes tragen. Nacktwählen wäre doch auch mal was neues. 🤪

If anyone is wondering what kind of nerd I am: I'm the guy that checks if his German ID card complies with the ICAO machine readable official documents standard. I am *shocked* to tell you it does not comply. The document number is in the wrong place and it's missing an entry for "sex".

A lot of the Apple blog- and podcastophere seems quite excited for the rumoured "HomePod with a touchscreen". Personally, I'd just really like a HomePod mini that is rated for more humidity than the "90% noncondensing" the current gen has. I don't feel comfortable putting it in the bathroom.

iOS has gotten its first native porn app, Hot Tub. It scapes the big porn sites and extracts the video. But it's not very polished in a bunch of ways. For instance, while you can choose your sexuality, you'll still be shown categories like 'MILF' and 'Big Tits' even after selecting 'Gay'.
