Iran's leaders are evil... but as with anything in life, there's no black and white, and however dark a shade of grey they may be, they're not the ones committing genocide, so...

Disgusting. Labour are supposed to be the party that care about ordinary people. They should be leaving this ultra-capitalist callousness dressed up as fiscal responsibility for the Tories.

You're not wrong, but Iran isn't the aggressor here. Trump trashed their nuclear deal in his first term, and now Netanyahu is bombing them without provocation. Even if Iran was willing to negotiate, would America listen? Would Israel?

To be fair, if Labour have been taking advice from civil servants so far, it's easy to see how they could become disillusioned with the civil service and want to change things up. Of course, you're right to say that without the proper will, nothing will ever work out for them.

Capitalists will do what capitalists will do. Overall, it still means letting terminally ill people avoid long, slow, agonising deaths, though, so even if a few people make some money as a result, the legislation was worth passing.

The xenophobes have demonised the people crossing in small boats to the point that it has become THE big immigration issue. The best thing that can be done for refugees would be to establish an asylum processing centre in France, allowing successful claimants to enter the country officially.

Up to ten years in prison for paying for a lap dance feels... I'm trying not to say 'stiff'.

It always bugs me when people complain about shrinking populations and insist that we need to have more babies. We don't. Having a lower population would make it so much easier to sustain ourselves without damaging the planet.

Those are some great statistics. I dunno if they’re correct, but I refuse to research it to find out, because it’s comforting to believe that money doesn't always corrupt. 😅

As a non-American, I am choosing to believe that this clip is from a documentary and all wannabe cowboys behave exactly like this.

Nice to see that not everything Labour is doing is bad. I just wish they got the money for this from raising taxes rather than taking it from the disabled.

Obviously no one who isn't racist should care whether white people are a minority or not, but even for those who do care, this article shouldn't concern them, since it's complete grabage. According to the method they used, even Nigel Farage wouldn't be considered "White British".

I agree that Starmer isn't doing enough to help the poor, but acting like this means Putin isn't a problem is a terrible way of presenting your argument. Putin brought war to Europe and we have to do our part for the continent.
