Important to note that this doesn't mean all judges are like that, but the role is more likely to attract people like that, just as assholes want to be bosses, but not all bosses are assholes. (I try to not be an asshole boss, but it's a struggle sometimes when the systems seem to expect/demand it)

The caption does use the plural "protestors", so there must be some additional invisible protestors standing with that person. Maybe they're wearing cloaks of invisibility, and that person's cloak just fell off as he raised his arms. That's it. Perfectly reasonable explanation.

It's more fun to be Slim Pickens, riding the bomb to oblivion, than to do actual work that might help.
But I get it, I'm depressed, I'm anxious, and I'm very very tired. Lots of bad has happened that can't be undone, and more bad will happen before things can head in a better direction.

Well, a different kind of drama, but there's still drama, and maybe higher quality drama. Less UFC and more grappling. Less Universal Studios theme park stunt show and more Requiem for a Heavyweight.
