I've definitely never heard anyone claim that medical transition is somehow mutually exclusive with being nonbinary; if there are queer folx who really think that, I hope they learn that they're wrong :p I don't think I'm going to stop using the term, but I'll be thinking about it more critically.

Huh. I've never thought about it like this. I can definitely see it. But to me, "medical transition" is usually just a descriptor. Like a sapphic person describing themself as butch or femme or stud. It's a slightly more specific way to describe one's transition, while not telling your entire story
