Yeah but fuck John Deere though. Companies like Deere, Bayer, etc. are the reason food prices rest where they are and why small farmers have to be subsidized. They gatekeep input costs to make farming a large corporate game

because USAID has been used repeatedly as a front by the State Department and CIA for meddling in foreign affairs. It has happened in Chile, Bolivia, Ukraine, Haiti, Venezuela.
Democrats finally "grew a spine" on this because it was finally inconvenient to the neoliberal foreign affairs system.

I'm afriad this may have more to do with the fact that we have essentially one party ruling and USAID has repeatedly funneled money to destabilize foreign governments.
Democrats finally push back on *this* because it was an important tool of the CIA, one of their choice neoliberal weapons.
