@nytimes.com Your post and headline fail to include that these actions are #illegal and already the subject of many #lawsuits. Repeating just the memo insinuates that this is legal, spreading #misinformation. #ReportingGrades

@wsj.com Your post and article headline fail to point out that this is not only #illegal, these are powers of Congress, but also unprecedented and dangerous with the critical roles CIA employees play in both domestic and foreign security. In essence, this is a loyalty to Trump test. #ReportingGrades

We started #ReportingGrades because it is a critical time in US history for #News to be a strong pillar of society. It has been incredibly disheartening to see how little journalistic integrity these posts and article headlines have under scrutiny. The basics of facts and info gathering are missing.

@bloomberg Your post and headline fail to indicate temporary appointments and DOGE specifically only have the authority to advise, not take actions such as installing their own servers, copying personal data, firing employees, etc. #ReportingGrades

Your post and headline fail to include that the DOE was created by law in 1979 and only Congress has legal authority to do so. Your coverage implies that a President has this power when it is explicitly illegal. #ReportingGrades

Your post and headline fail to indicate whether 1) this is a legal designation given his position 2) what conflicts exist with only the Justice Department having jurisdiction 3) how Musk got a top secret security clearance given there is no public record of any background check or drug test.

Repeating a claim without any fact check only helps the lie spread. In short, this post and headline perpetuates the attack on the organization without even mentioning the illegal activities Musk and his team are conducting.

The president of Colombia posted on X that he did not authorize this agreement. Your post is only representing the voice of one side in a dispute without direct fact or comment from Colombia leaders. As many only read posts and headlines, this is potentially misleading.

Repeating a claim without verification in your post makes your post simply a megaphone for company marketing. It is useful to add verification of claims as many readers will only see the post and headline.

It is important to include conflicts of interest in posts and headlines as many will never read the article. Musk owns a competitor AI product and was a former investor in OpenAI with a history of animosity.

Posts from opinion shows should be clearly marked and delivered separately from news feed to clarify whether the content is vetted, sourced, and fact checked. Headlines with claims that are opinion have been shown to influence readers as many never read the articles. #ReportingGrades

It is critical to point out that Musk has a conflict of interest here with his own competing AI company. This post directly benefits Musk and repeats his claim without validating it. This post lacks fairness, sources, and is selectively omissive. #ReportingGrade
