Happy Flag Day! I’m proud to have worn the uniform and served under a flag that stands for freedom, sacrifice, and hope. Let’s keep working to make sure it represents justice and opportunity for every American.

The current situation is dangerous for the United States, our ally Israel, our partners in the Middle East, and civilians across the region.

Wishing all New Jerseyans who celebrate a meaningful Eid Al-Adha.

Today we wear orange for the more than 40,000 lives lost to gun violence each year in America.

My statement on Donald Trump revoking EMTALA emergency abortion guidance.

SNAP supports around 800,000 New Jerseyans and cutting $300 billion in funding would lead to greater food insecurity across our state. It's unconscionable that Washington Republicans would let working families go hungry to line the pockets of billionaires. www.nj.com/mosaic/news/...

How it started ▶️How it’s going! Thank you to Mayor Conley and everyone in Madison who worked together to help build The Forum — housing that is affordable and green to help keep utility costs low. I am looking forward to welcoming families to Madison!

My team was excited to join the JESPY House groundbreaking ceremony in South Orange this weekend! I’m so proud to have such a wonderful organization like JESPY House here in the Garden State providing opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to gain independence.

I’m horrified by today’s antisemitic attack against the Jewish community in Boulder. We must continue to work together to demand for the release of all of the hostages who remain in Hamas captivity. (1/2)

Pride is a celebration of love, identity, and the ongoing fight for equality. This month I look forward to celebrating with the LGBTQ+ community in NJ-11 as we work to build a future where everyone is safe, seen, and supported.

Yesterday I had the honor of hosting my annual Academy appointee recognition event. This year was especially meaningful, as two of my own children will be heading to the Academy this summer.

Congratulations to Geared Power, based in Wayne, for winning the Makers Madness — The Coolest Thing Made in New Jersey contest! I'm always amazed by the innovators and entrepreneurs who are moving the 11th District and New Jersey into the future.

This month my team joined organizations across NJ-11 for AAPI History Month, celebrating the valuable contributions the AAPI communities have made to our district.

Thrilled to be back with the ECLC of Chatham to celebrate the opening of Helene’s Thrifts and Gifts in Madison, a new store that provides hands-on job training and real-world experience for adults and students with special needs.

I’ve seen firsthand the challenges our veterans face when they come home. What the Trump administration is planning to do to the VA, cutting critical services like mental health care and housing support, is not fiscal responsibility—it’s a betrayal.

After the horrible murders last week of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgram, two Israeli Embassy employees, we need additional federal resources to protect Jewish communities and institutions from targeted antisemitic violence. jewishinsider.com/2025/05/miki...

Thank you to all the communities across NJ-11 who held Memorial Day commemorations. My team was honored to speak at your events this past week.

On Memorial Day, we remember the Americans who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our nation, and we continue to support the family members who have served alongside them. We are forever indebted to those who have given their lives fighting for our country. Our freedom is never free.

Last week my team joined the Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship and the Small Business Administration at their 7th Annual Business Pitch Competition in Livingston! I’m always inspired by the passion and drive of these women entrepreneurs.

Mental Health Matters. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and I encourage you all to take this month to prioritize your mental health and to reach out to those who might need your help.

Following the tragic shooting of two Israeli Embassy staffers outside the Capital Jewish Museum, today I sent a letter to Secretary Noem and AG Bondi urging immediate action and additional federal resources to protect Jewish communities, houses of worship, and nonprofit organizations.

I am devastated by the terrible attack on Israeli Embassy staff last night in D.C. This act of antisemitic violence is truly horrifying. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the young couple who were killed and the Jewish community.

My statement on the House Republican budget and reconciliation package.

This weekend my team attended the Lake Hopatcong Block Party to meet constituents and hand out information on our casework resources. Every year this is such a great event!

This Jewish American Heritage Month, we honor the strength, resilience, and profound contributions of Jewish Americans to our nation’s history.

Yesterday, I introduced legislation to safeguard critical federal benefits and services from Elon Musk’s DOGE. I refuse to sit by as an unelected billionaire lines his own pockets with the money that hardworking New Jerseyans have rightfully earned. newjerseyglobe.com/congress/she...

My statement on the NJ TRANSIT train engineers’ strike:

Last week my team joined Habitat for Humanity in Rockaway Township for a Women’s Build. We’re proud to support the goal of affordable housing for everyone.

I had the honor of serving with Bill Pascrell, a friend, mentor, and tireless advocate for Paterson and NJ. Proud, tough, and full of heart, it was his work in the House that secured the designation of the Great Falls as a National Historical Park.

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! All month long we honor the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities and celebrate their contribution to the American story.

The Trump administration's decision to end TPS for Afghan nationals is cruel and dangerous. Thousands of Afghans who fled in desperation could now be deported and face persecution from the Taliban. This is a complete betrayal of our values. www.politico.com/news/2025/05...
