I remember visiting my parents in hot & humid So. Illinois many years ago. One day I mowed their lawn for them with a power mower & when I was done I was drenched in sweat even though I had hardly exerted myself. So I know what you mean. Keep cool! 😎

I don’t want to make you feel bad, but it’s 82° & sunny. We haven’t had any really bad heatwaves so far this year, but it’s probably only a matter of time before we do.

Yes, I see that a heatwave is descending upon you. So a good time to be going for dips in the ocean. Ah, softball, a sport that I played religiously for about 40 years until my body parts started giving out on me 😭 I had a good day today if we don’t count all the bad news 🤣

Do you mostly use your radishes in salads? I planted a Blue Lake Green Bean plant in the Spring and so far it’s been yielding an abundant harvest 🫛

I don’t know how closely you follow basketball, but this is reminiscent of the Mavs trading Doncic to the Lakers. But at least the Mavs got a star player in return. I’m certain that if the Sox had done a better job of shopping Devers around the league they could have gotten more in return.

I saw her portrait of Zelensky & was impressed. And she’s a poet too (she read a few of her poems at the rally yesterday and one in particular I thought was great!). I hold her in the highest esteem not just because she’s a multitalented artist, but for all she’s done to help her fellow human beings
