Public pressure led several banks to pledge to cut ties with CoreCivic & The GEO Group in 2019. These are the financial institutions that one or both companies have named in SEC filings since 2020.

But for many of the banks that finance GEO & CoreCivic, WE are the customers. They're betting on us not noticing or caring that they're financing the mass detention & deportation of our friends & neighbors.

They're intentionally creating a double employment crisis--eliminating federal jobs on the one hand, which will result in more unemployment/biz closures as people stop spending--& on the other hand they are deporting the workforce for labor-based jobs. They see one as solving the other. Serfdom. 2/2

There are 66 other countries besides the US who ban asbestos so if any company chooses to use it they won’t be trading with those countries including the EU, UK, Australia and Japan.
