Let’s survive this 1000-alarm fire together. Also, not to be morbid, but if you’re going to protest—get a will, health care proxy & power of attorney. If you’re unable to act, you’ll want to appoint someone you trust to act for you. (Free legal advice.)

100%. I’m a rare Boston genX always eager to talk politics. Many of my peers & the boomers weren’t. A lot of heads in the sand. Often resistant to talk topics that might implicate their portfolios. It was all veiled as impolite. No longer. They’re willing to talk & come out en masse now. I have hope

Yes! The place of the actual #Boston Tea Party in 1773 will keep showing up for democracy. We will have #NoKings in #Boston.

#Boston #Pride / #NoKings certainly the largest march I can remember. I was literally the last person in the lineup (behind me was the cop and ambulance), a full 1/2 mi to the start, plus groups staged in 5 side streets. 2mi route. It took TWO HOURS to start moving at the back, and 2 hrs to walk

I keep wondering—how is possible that #NoKings #NoKingsDay isn’t a major story at every outlet? Even on my feed here it seems to have largely disappeared unless I search the hashtags. We didn’t dream it. It happened. And it was huge.

Hi friends!! For those that haven’t heard of the 3.5% rule, read the article below. Erica Chenoweth has studied fascist regimes and we need 3.5% of the US actively engaged to topple it. How that happens for us, I don’t know. But yesterday was a great start! ✊🏻💙 www.bbc.com/future/artic...

Let’s hope there’s an adult somewhere in this maelstrom who he’ll listen to. Though it seems more like a question of when, not if. Trump and Netanyahu will do literally anything to remain in office.

The timing of this escalation seems ominous. Just in time for Herr Trump’s birthday.

Trump pulled US out of the Iran nuclear deal in 2018.

And this regime claims to care about the military. They don’t even care enough to provide basic necessities when they send the military to do the their bidding.

We are absolutely obligated to resist this regime. The goal is to have the largest possible protests with the least possible violence. Studies show peaceful protest is the best & quickest way to regain a democracy. The regime will instigate. We resist.

I’ve been to several now but I’m no pro. The sit down, get quiet & film law enforcement is a good strategy based on my experience. Important note, cell service gets jammed. I make a plan with my group for meeting if we get separated. Lots more advice here www.wired.com/story/how-to... Let’s go!! 💪
