I'm mostly here to talk about games and related stuff. From AAA to Indie, west to east, Fast-paced shooters to visual novels, I play them all ;but I have enough self respect to not waste my time on live-service slops.

Most of the games that are marketed as indies nowadays are just AA trying to look indie. AA never disappeared, it just changed.

I won't mind if the people went "get video games out of my politics!!"

Also, shadow dropping games sucks. Mess with your own games MS, not with beloved games like Ninja Gaiden.

You should post that pic whenever you make it to discover tab.

I don't think we need to be worried about them. They have moved on from just development and now work on both developing their games and publishing other's games too.

I don't know where the 0.02 stat comes from, but it is not surprising. Xbox shot themselves in the foot with relying so much on gamepass. Almost everyone who would want to play it would probably already be subscribed to gp.

What's this thing about the vocal racist? I am not aware.

I hope they apply these bans in a strict manner. These mtx filled games are very exploitative of their audience.

I don't remember the specifics, but iirc the same developers as Destruction Allstars were making it, but after DAS didn't do well, they gave it to some other developer, and then ended up cancelling it after that.

I guess they first want to get footing in the live service share, and then worry about management later.

I usually just play games in english, but I might have to check Japanese audio for this one.

Found it on a post by @realradec.bsky.social. Tried including the credits in the main post, but hit character limit.

I didn't know this tidbit about it being the local dialect of the area.

They already did that with SM2 and GOWR. But reusing assets is not a silver bullet, and a solution to only a small part of the bigger problem. It works for RGG because they work on a single series. What Sony needs right now is better management.

Thanks for the timestamp. This is the kind of story I was expecting it to be lol.

I hope after you sell some 40-50 million copies, you will regale us with the tale of how you got Swery and Shuhei Yoshida to voice the roles.

I read an article that might be of interest to you too- 0451games.substack.com/p/nintendo-s...

Maybe the switch two will click too.

I tried thinking, but couldn't come up with any crime you can commit on a racing track based racing game. I don't think some punting is enough for it to be a homicide. Maybe you can imagine your guy committing tax fraud.

I think that would have worked if it was Nintendo 2, or SNES 7/idk. Switch is still the console here. Confusion in costumers is a marketing problem. Market it right and people will know it is the next big thing, irrespective of the name imo.

(I am saying all this based on initial glance, and hoping the full showcase will give us some actually differentiating features.)

Tbh, the 2 doesn't make it much better either. A lot of those "disconnected" people will still think it is a switch which they already have, specially since the design is not a lot different. I

You can overshadow them again if you announce the release date.

That's a little too many for my taste.

Still have some hopes that in the full reveal, they will show us some tech that will show how it is more than just a bigger switch.

Co-op can make even bad games fun. So for a game like yours, where just looking at the screenshots and clips makes me want to get into it this instant will just make it doubly fun.

No cringe, it is the perfect casting. Although you didn't reveal the voice actor of the most important character... Who is voicing the kei truck?

I have seen people use decades, graphical capability, leading Nintendo/PS console for this purpose. All of them have their own ups and downs imo.

You weren't joking about the Yakuza influence lool. Nice surprise. And I might be wrong, but this could be the debut title for Shuhei Yoshida in a significant role. And and Swery is the perfect fit for this style of game.

Would love to see more gaming beats sometime (although not more than the books). I too plan on going back to it few years down the line again.

Since the changes are based on user feedback, you will be less likely to find it applied on videos that are not too popular or too new. I have been using it since day 2, and I find it applied on a lot of videos. Although I hate it when it changes the title of the review to just the review score.

Didn't know you talked about games on this account too. It took me 161 hours to beat the game, although didn't get the platinum since it requires another playthrough.
