The beige/white one - I like my Amigas to look like Amigas 🙂

I'm a member of that FB group, must have missed that drama 😂 It's the group's loss losing someone like you, some of the admins speak nonsense on there and get away with it unfortunately.

Sad I missed this - hope you all had fun!

The new games both look great and the PPC thing is interesting - look forward to more news on that 🙂

Loved this game. Used to play it on my dad's work laptop which has one of those green tinted screens. He only had a couple of games and this was one of them 🙂

I used to enjoy going to Sounds Familiar in Romford, would get the train there. Slipped Discs in Chelmsford was good too and my local one.

Yeah, not sure I've ever played a snooker or pool game on a console. Always a mouse on the Amiga and PC ones 🙂
comment in response to post
Though I had it on the PC, but assume it was the same!

Used to love this game. Graphics were great and the soundtrack was really relaxing.

I should probably do this to my Amiga 2000 keyboard at some point. It's getting rather yellow.

Don't have a gun for my CD-i but have the Wii version and also have it on my arcade cabinet. Is the CDI port good?

Played this to death on my A1200. It was the main reason I got a harddrive for it!

You can get an adapter and use a Bluetooth controller. That's what I have. Cheaper than the crazy prices for those original pads.

Yeah, the Amiga porta were massively disappointing. Mortal Kombat is a decent port though.
comment in response to post
Yeah, Sega did the right thing. Shame on the Amiga they didn't introduce a 4 or 6 button pad until the CD32. Sticking with 1-2 buttons was rubbish when SF2 etc arrived.
comment in response to post
Think I prefer the 6 button version. That's a lovely pad. I was more a fan of the Snes pad than the 3 button megadrive one.

Yeah, it's good - though you need a pretty powerful Amiga. Reminds me a bit of Andretti Racing. There are lots of FPS ports from PC to Amiga (which I'd rather just play on PC) but nice to see something different.

Yeah, I think it's got better games (as long as you have a region mod), much better controller and much better light guns.

Saturn all day long for me 🙂
comment in response to post
That was meant to say box art 😂 though it is also big, I suppose.
comment in response to post
Like the big art for that one.

Look at that central midfield, solid 😂 We were a better team a couple of years later when we won the league cup, Nielsen was the hero then 🙂

Fantastic! Can't wait 🙂

I own 5 of those 6, I don't own the FM Towns. My fav would be the 3DO, it feels a cut above the other consoles at the time.

I remember playing Italia 90 loads round a neighbours. He only had that cart and Sonic.

That's about when I got my first one, I had an ST before that but that blew up 😂

You could upgrade that with a pistorm and also use an RGB2HDMI, then you'll have everything on HDMI.
comment in response to post
You can get the pistorm for the 600 & 500 too I think, if you fancied something different.
comment in response to post
Do you already own an A1200 to use?
comment in response to post
Makes sense. I don't own one myself, as I tend to go for classic style upgrades, but I believe the WiFi works on it and RTG comes out the HDMI - but I think games still will come out the normal RGB port. Though I think they were working on that, so it may be fixed or close to.
comment in response to post
Depends what games you want to play. Most the games that use the pistorm's power are just old PC game ports, so if you have an old PC then you can play them on that (and they run better). But for normal Amiga games you don't need a pistorm and your 4000 will run them.

I have one. Can't say it's my most used computer, but I enjoy playing on it when I get the chance.
comment in response to post
Yeah, I have a few Amigas and space is definitely hard to come by. My A500 is in a cupboard and one of my A1200s alternates between the cupboard and the floor in front of my CRT. The only ones I have set up are my A2000, A1200T and my CD32.
comment in response to post
🙁 do you have a different go-to Amiga?
comment in response to post
If we're talking just light guns, then aside from the Sega ones, I enjoyed Mighty Hits - filled in for the lack of a point blank.
comment in response to post
Ignoring all the obvious Sega released games, I love all the Capcom ones. Capcom really worked wonders with the ram carts and even without the cart, SFA2 was genius.

Good read. I picked up Sociable Soccer for the PC with high hopes but while it's okay, it's missing a lot unfortunately and nowhere near as good as SWOS.

This still gets played every games night I have, capture the flag on it is a favourite of my friends. We were playing it just a week ago. (I have a LAN network of 5 stations in my games room).

Sorry it was 4 in 1, not 6. It was for the GG and had penalties, tennis, a racing game and columns.

In the same boat. I still have my X account but using it less and less.
