And this “breaking news” is from April 10. That doesn’t make it ok for the feds to do this, but means this account is lying and should be removed. I will report and then block, and suggest others do as well. Proof: abc7.com/post/los-ang...

Hyperspace skipping was only in TROS, Starkiller Base was TFA
comment in response to post
Even with that, none of the skips were from planets at least according to Wikipedia; they’re all asteroids or random astronomical objects

JRPGs are 200 hours if you play them properly (190 hours of grinding)

What I found first when I was looking through on Bsky was people complaining about this one:

As is tradition, Starkiller Base was destroyed by a snub fighter I think you’re thinking of the First Order fleet in TLJ?

the rule of two demands an incomplete battle station and a fully operational battle station but never two fully complete ones without a musical score ready to go

I think the in-universe argument is that you need something on the order of the Death Star’s main gun to pierce planetary shields If the question was just devastating a planet they could do it with a couple of ISDs

Worf as a Klingon diaspora kid getting his dreams crushed by the reality of modern Klingon culture was one of my favorite character threads in TNG/DS9

The point of protesting is to make the keyboard warriors who aren’t there feel validated, duh

Palpatine isn’t asking you why you spend so much on Gunpla, is he?

Mon-El is called Mon-El because he had temporary amnesia & Clark had recently read Robinson Crusoe. On this I will brook no dissension.

A single unit means: - You can only force project in one place at a time, and the galaxy is big - What do you do when your Orbital Battle Station is due for repairs and refit?
comment in response to post
Heresy
comment in response to post
Though the worst choice of the Bendis reboot, other than most boring Superman, was making Mon-El an actual Kryptonian & descendent of the House of El.

I checked the article; its plot hole is “wow the DS2 was built fast” and the “fix” was the Narkina prisons are still active at the end of Andor S2?
comment in response to post
people need to stop calling any narrative gap a "plot hole." in my day we reserved the phrase "plot hole" for an outright contradiction, a genuine error on the part of the writer - something like bill is in new york on page 1 and on page 2 bill is in los angeles, that sort of thing

Not until he comes back to write a miniseries in 10 years that everyone ignores in the rest of continuity Related, Peter A David’s Genis-Vell series was good

The one that the most boring Superman was part of?

Four, he also voiced the leader of the Gungan High Council, not to mention two characters who don’t rate names

i will never not be annoyed about how "Bruce's parents are struck down by Random, Pointless Violent Crume" is the most destilled origin of why that guy is like that, and how fucking with that makes no sense

Four listed writers on the Marvel wiki so that checks out

And then he fixed it again but by that time no one cared about his Watchmen sequel and then he left DC

The bottled city also plays an important role in the mythos as a problem Superman cannot fix, imho.

If this is the one I think Shooter is a listed writer!
comment in response to post
I still like that Jim Shooter's response to being asked about that story decades later was "no, no way did I publish that" and then "wtf I have no recollection of this or why anyone would do this" when it was actually shown to him.

There is literally no way they could have been carrying a meaningful amount of food to alleviate Gaza's food supply issues on the ship they were on, so this was first and foremost always a predictable act of, essentially, civil disobedience on an international scale. Getting arrested was the plan.

The people who go 'oh, it's a great idea', I just think 'did you LIKE it when it took the first two hours of 'The Unexpected Journey' for Bilbo to leave his damn house?'
