Nothing has radicalized me more against ads than @smoshgames.bsky.social insisting on an ad break every two minutes of video. JUST LET ME WATCH FOR LONGER THAN TWO MINUTES

@worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com Doing the BFA meta achievement, playing the horde side of the story for the first time. I just read Rexxar's justification to join Sylvanas' war. I'm mad, I'm appaled. The depths of character assassination during this storytelling period of wow is bottomless.

I appreciate Blizzard trying new things, and the turbo boost week was amazing. However, the timegating in visions and now dastardly duos was a lesson painstakingly learnt in the legion/bfa/sl days and really sours me on engaging with this content #WorldOfWarcraft

@dratnos.bsky.social The big thing between delves and horrific visions is the ability to pause and walk away if something comes up #Worldofwarcraft

With horrific visions out soon, I'd like reiterate that all of the time-gated, weekly gated retention content this late in patch 11.1 rubs me the wrong way. Seasonal, not perpetual please.

The m+ concession in #WoW is a fair and good change. The strength and/or QOL of items like pick-me-up or best-in-slots are now the biggest issue for not freeing up the dinar pool of both for both. I would hope to see maybe resilient 14's or 15's open up the mythic raid pool too.

@thewindstalker.bsky.social Hello Holly! Throwing a Hail Mary out here from a very nich community, the pet battlers. Is there any chance we could have some composer time for pet battle music? We've had the one song since it release and I'd love for more #WoW music variation.

The blue prince was a wonderful puzzle game delight, I heavily recommend it to anyone remotely interested in puzzle games. Its only blemish is that the rogue-elements need more mitigation at the very late game, when the puzzles get very elaborate and specific. @blueprincegame.bsky.social

#Blizzard has a tough balancing act between the seasonal gamer and the monogamer in world of warcraft, but the former is much more important to please. You mostly have the monogamer's soul already. Returning BFA/SL tactics for week-on-week retention is just going to open terrible old wounds.

That being said, the actions of Blizzard surrounding 11.5 and beyond are scaring me. Monthly drip feeding of a patch's contents. Hoarding the "very rare" fun items of the raid behind the final bosses. Adding a third bad luck protection for raiders. [Did we forget they have a raid vault?]

In all of the dinar discussion, I can't help but think about @scarizard.bsky.social and his original vision for the s2 dinar, and how nice having a long and thought-out post from a dev can be. I hope whatever comes he can continue to be one of the player-facing blizzard devs.
