I didn't even consider that.
Do you suppose the cameras are still functional, even now, watching the protests?
Do you suppose they have working microphones?
It would be a great ad for the product, to any company looking for a surveillance auto-car.
It can still record footage even through a fire.

No worries.
Mistakes happen, and text is wonky for communicating tone and emphasis and all that.
Take care.

What do you mean "try again?"
I thought that car belonged to some random dude, and I was mistaken.
What's there to try again at?

You telling me they DIDN'T kidnap people back when the patriot act was passed and department of homeland security was created?
The only protests allowed to happen are the ones the deep state provokes.
This is allowed because it weakens the country, allowing parasites to gain more power.

Oh man!
The game about the horrors of capitalism being published by one of the richest most cutthroat companies in the world and sold for $80.
Not sure if it's irony or hypocrisy.
comment in response to

Why, because you set some random person's car on fire?
I mean, that's pretty fuckin' rude.
What if they did that to your car?
How would you feel then?
Wouldn't be such a fun event then, would it?

I agree... but that law is still in place.
Why aren't people standing up to protest *that* one?
It's almost like these protests against ICE are manufactured, like the people leading them are more than just "small time community organizers," or whatever they're pretending this week.

Oh, fuck right off, you high and mighty shithead.
Nothing I said was wrong, and nothing you said was even remotely close to a coherent thought.
Now go piss off back to your mom's basement.

You could have fooled me.
If you're convicted of a felony, you have certain constitutional rights revoked from you (2nd amendment).
Not sure who passed that law or when, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't an amendment.
comment in response to
post
That was an oversight, obviously, and needed that law passed.
I mean, what country would be able to maintain itself with free open boarders?
No country would do that, because it would be invaded by warlords and gangs, which is exactly what is happening in the US southern boarder.
comment in response to

Yeah, well guess what?
All you need to do is accuse someone of "being a terrorist," and the patriot act basically washes away the 4th amendment and habeas corpus, legal citizen or not.
Everyone's freaked out at Trump, but they totally forget the terrible laws already on the books.

The thing about documented immigrants is they're willing to go through the process and do things legally, so why *shouldn't* they have all the rights and perks that are enjoyed by someone born here?
I mean, do you think I'm an evil person just because I want immigrants to come in legally?

Is she looking at the simultaneous arrival of the milk man and the produce vendor?
Oh, man!
Just thinking about it makes me want to have a big slice of watermelon and wash it down with a tall glass of milk.
... yeah, that combo sounds terrible, like something a serial killer would have.

- makes me think those rulings were made in haste or without proper consideration to future ramifications.
But more to the point, you're right.
It's not actually amended to the constitution proper, but supreme court rulings have codified it into law.
That's egg on my face, but whatever.

So here is my problem: apparently there are a few past court rulings that advocate the 1st and 4th amendments apply to illegals (so in that regard, you're right), but there are also rulings that say the 2nd amendment does NOT apply to illegals.
The lack of consistency is bothersome and makes- (1/2)

No, I'm talking about the cultural marxists that have invaded the left wing of US politics, the people the left have used as their dividing arm to shove normal sane people away and radicalize far leftists.
comment in response to

Yeah, except that there are a lot of rapists, drug runners, arms dealers, and human traffickers crossing the boarder that do a lot worse than going 5 miles over the limit.
Nice false equivalence, though.

Yes, it can happen, no matter what NAACP says.

I'm gonna give unsolicited advice to a stranger!
This could be a bonding experience between you and your dad if you want, what with father's day coming up, especially if he hasn't read it.
You could both read it like a book club, and discuss it together.
Or a maybe different book if you want.

I mean, it's worth a read eventually.
Is your dad still around so you can talk to him after reading it?

We're not going to agree any time soon.
You think prisons are for slave labor, and I realize they are necessary for society to properly function.
People who are not US citizens don't get the benefits of the US constitution.
They have to be legally brought in and follow our laws to gain that perk.

I'd freak out too if I saw that barrelling down at me as soon as I wake up from my 11 hour nap.

It's a prison, not a concentration camp, just a prison like the kind that holds any other criminals.
Period.
You come to the US illegally, you get tossed out and possibly go to jail in another country.
You don't want that to happen, don't illegally enter the USA.
Easy.

What... are you trying to do here?
Do you think for a moment that I was saying the holocaust didn't happen?
False.
I'm saying that ICE is *not* the gestapo, and war crimes are *not* happening in the modern day in this situation.

It's always rough when the adventure hinges on the players reaction to a particular NPC.
If they don't go for it, it turns into the DM playing carrot & stick with the players, and that's just kinda' bad.

This is legit a great idea.
Sadly, I don't think it's gonna happen, but still, a great idea.

And you're a brainwashed NPC retard who thinks he's "fighting for the resistance," or some such foggy idealized daydream that you use to justify rioting and hurting people for your own enjoyment.

You mean those illegal aliens who were sent back overseas?
And when they got there they were revealed to be criminals in their own country so they were put back in prison where they belong?
Those the people you mean?

I'd rather have ICE than the Mexican gangs, drug cartels, and human traffickers who torture & murder all who get in their way.

The military won't side with anyone on a blanket gun grab.
There might be one or two high profile cases they go against, but it's never gonna be the law of the land, not unless there's a massive, previously unheard of, social-political shift in the US population.

Nothing you say can make that happen, even though you REALLY want it to happen, so you can feel vindicated at your irrational hatred for the Orange Man.
