I am a very progressive Democrat but understand the reason leadership is so willing to compromise is that they believe they need swing votes to retake majorities. I don’t know if we would win or lose by a greater margin if we went with the will of registered Democrats, but it *has* worked for GOP

It makes me so frustrated that “good” people are still using Twitter. The reason that Elon Musk has the power he does with Twitter is that too many people are too selfish to give away their slice of “influence” from their Twitter accounts. It is such a great metaphor for why we can’t fix America.

When the government is defying the Constitution, we protest. That is the American way. To send troops against the exercise of the most basic of American Constitutional right is unacceptable. When consequences come for the Trump regime, they will be commensurate with these crimes. So more it be.

Sorry — if we got a ton of right wing trolls spewing alternative “facts,” I’d be out. There is plenty of diversity of opinion here — just an intolerance for fake news. I hear enough of that kind of “other side” everywhere else, including WaPo.
