Looking at her bluesky feed, her insight looks to be quite limited. Her posts haven’t aged well.

White Christian nationalist and MAGA Trump supporter with anti-abortion hit list, Vance Boelter, decides killing is his way of showing how pro-life he is, and how much he loves Jesus. If he survives to trial we can probably expect a presidential pardon.

Her words are like bullets - Greta is definitely a powerful weapon against weak little men.

So a fairly primitive system then.

Ukraine should make a number of deadly missiles and drones, and military operations called ‘Glory’. Then it really will be ‘glory to russia’ and he can be proud of his new tattoo, and the irony that goes with it.

With American officials deliberately targeting Australian citizens and shooting them, what confidence do you have that American officials will have Australia’s back with the AUKUS submarine project? And by ‘having Australia’s back’ I don’t mean shooting us.

That was clearly a targeted shot - raised gun, aimed at journalist, pulled the trigger, shot her.

Like a lot of Trump supporters Musk now has buyer’s regret.

Because people voted for them instead of the greens and independents.
It’s as simple as that.
If enough people vote for a party that pays lip service to the environment while selling out to vested interests, that is exactly the sort of government that will be delivered.

What will happen in the next election? Do you know? What happened in 2010? Have you forgotten?

There was a lot of voter regret with Trump (“we never voted for this…”). The same sort of sentiment is building with Howard-lite Albanese. The greens will have a resurgence in the next election as voters sour on Labor’s anti-environmental policies.

With the balance of power, yes of course they would.

As the climate crisis worsens, exacerbated by Labor’s anti-environmental policies, Australian’s health will continue to deteriorate, and all the Urgent Care Clinics in the world won’t save us.

In a shock to voters, genetic studies on climate and environmental policies reveal John to be Anthony’s dad.

Anyone voting Labor got what they voted for.
There should be no surprise on environment and climate issues for anyone who was paying attention.

Any failure to act on climate change and environmental degradation is now the sole responsibility of the Albanese and Labor government.
No more blaming the greens, or the coalition, or any other reason. Labor is now on notice. Trump won’t be able to help them next time around.

It seems remarkable that a single watt can have enough power to amplify the devastating impacts of climate change for millions of Australians & indeed the rest of the world.

Here's a thought. Why not stop pouring carbon emissions into the atmosphere?
You are actively increasing the risk of worse catastrophes in the future.

They are both happening right now, and both can be dealt with at the same time. One doesn’t nullify the other. Besides, the Gaza crisis has been developing well before the floods - what urgency and action has been directed to Gaza so far? Very little.

This is unreal - successive governments have facilitated the fossil fuel industries’ continuation & expansion, then give cash to help the victims of the resultant climate impacts. Classic abuser behaviour - do damage, claiming no choice in the matter, then offer soothing words. Rinse and repeat.

I can’t find any reference to the Greens opposing Rudd on this.
But here, it seems even Rudd was coy on the idea:

If Oscar Jenkins’ sentence is ‘an outrage’, what do you call the deliberate bombing and starving of thousands of Palestinian women, elderly and children by Benjamin Netanyahu?

Can the NYT drop the paywall on this article in Gaza so the Palestinian children don’t miss out on reading about this culinary treat?
