I was a huge Harry Potter nerd. Listened to fan podcasts, midnight release parties for the books, bought albums of hp themed indie bands, the whole deal. Haven’t interacted with it in a decade. Cancelled hbo when they announced the new show. And it looks great, I’d probably love it, but fuck that.

One of the things “Black Mirror” rally gets right, is understanding it’s a show for streaming and it doesn’t need to fit into a timeslot. When there’s 35 minutes of story, it’s 35 minutes long. When there’s 87 minutes of story, it’s 87 minutes long. No stretching or cutting for time.

The literal definition of autism has changed several times in RFK’s lifetime. The way we use it today didn’t exist until 1994. So if you’re older than about 30, unless you presented with the most extreme symptoms, it wasn’t even a thing that existed as a possible diagnosis when you were a kid.
