Yes, to all of that. I do Autocross, I do track days, I go out to remote canyon roads for no reason other than they are fun and pretty.
Also, I sit in traffic and try to distract myself with podcasts to stop from cursing god about how much of my life I’m wasting in a car.
It’s situational.

There’s some revisionist history in this take. Early consoles genuinely offered a better gaming experience, not just a “good enough” one. You could not do on a computer, at nearly any price of complexity, what you could do easily on a Nintendo. PC’s had to play catchup for a decade to even match.
