He always used to say Graham was the milkman’s, but I can see the resemblance here.

Del knew the score though. White shirt - classic, doesn’t date, unlike the tragic combo I have gone for here.

When I started working full time I discovered Caran D’Ache in Birko. I had some lovely clothes from there.

I used my Kay’s catalogue choice on a Casio keyboard. Mum was paying that for 52 weeks. So even my Dunlop Green Flash for PE were snide.

Talking of discography (note lower case ‘D’), I recently rediscovered this section of ‘Annually’. Back then, for me in a small backwater in the North West, this was PSB-collector’s nirvana. I already had the Opportunities first 12” (not the photocopy sleeve though) and WEG 12” but I wanted more!

And promoted on FB by the official PSB account!

Yes! Escape exists on the dance floor- that was nothing but evident a few years later, both in fields in Essex and in the charts.

I’ll be adding some geraniums over the weekend. He was admiring those in Bilbao a few years ago.

Hazell Dean, Rod Stewart, Stephen Hague (I think), Wendy from Prefab Sprout, Pavarotti (unlikely link between those two!), Dusty, Woody Woodpecker(!?), Bobby O?, Madonna, one of Five Star?, no idea, possibly Mr Tennant Sr?

So, L-R top to bottom.
Shep Pettibone, Divine, Larry Blackmon(Cameo), Peter Hook
Jimmy Tarbuck, Duane Eddy (?), George Michael, ?
David Lynch, Barbara Windsor, Blue Weaver, Phylis Nelson
comment in response to

Although #2 could be a young Duane Eddy? The time period would be right for Peter Gunn.

I am 10 years in, and another few to go. Walking though, which is always nice, means we can catch up on the day.

Catches me at random times. 5pm on a friday my brain goes ‘wonder if Del fancies a pint?’ Planning a party this summer and I wonder if he’ll be coming. It’s f***ed up.
