Planning for a pet portrait.

Best harmonies and showmanship I've seen on faire circuit in a long time.

I take everything so seriously, but I see it as a feature rather than a fault in my psyche. I'd rather care deeply and see the world for all its horrors and joys with eyes wide open, rather than whatever has happened to most of the people I encounter.

I don't use suggested words because I don't want any machine influance on my writing (luddite for life), but the resukt is *so many typos.* apologies.

Under the same moon. -- I made this to process the horror and helplessness of watching the genocide of Palistine through my phone. I can't stand that it's still going on. When I made this, it had been four months, now it's been over a year and a half. I want so much better for all of us.

Working on comissions today! I love wrapping personal pieces for people, either things that have broken and can't be worn as they are or significant objects. One of the reasons I got into jewelry was being able to make special tokens wearable, so I love it when people bring me things.

Thinking about this daily.

Mother's day card. I'm honestly not used to colored pencils, only been using them off and on for a few years, but they're very fun.

I got into this lifestyle for the camping and old world crafts. Something ignites in me when after a work day I'm stomping around in the rain with my skirts tucked into my leggings, spilling water off my tarp, lashing it to trees with bungees so I don't have to get up in the night to fix it further.

This is the season I do jewelry more than anything else for money. It is really weird selling things like this when the whole world seems to be on fire, but I seem to be okay at it. Getting some sketch time in-between, made a mother's day gift I'll have to show off later.

Community breakfasts are the best, y'all. This was a specific health fair day, free Narcan training. There's gonna be a "stop the bleed" class later. I cannot express how sweet and wonderful it is to have food with your found family.✨️ So many crafts, too! I made an art trade for the fox.

I learned how to make pens from bird feathers and how to create various types of ink during the pandemic. I was really weird about trying to find all North American ingredients (mostly successful). Idk, if anyone needs a scribe once the internet goes down, I'm your man, I guess.

Thank's to @rfsmith.bsky.social for this week's #PromptCombo theme on #Attachment. Here's a quick contribution, written in the gaps of this morning! #blueskypoets #BlueskyPoetry #poetrycommunity #poetry #writingcommunity #ScottishPoetry

Making rings for work. One of my making hacks is I write rulers onto everything I use regularly. My other making hack is knowing when to invest. The tray is from a thrift shop and cost $1. The ring mandrel is from Rio Grande and costs $65. (I will never need another.)

No one deserves CECOT. -- I don't have anything new and useful to say, but I feel like saying nothing is worse. There's so much that is staying the same for now, it feels insane to go on having to make money when we're literally doing concentration camps. We have to bring them all back.

Look, let me be clear. I'm an artist, I pour my heart and soul into my craft. I make things that matter. Things that change the world, your perception, my mind is too intricate and too beautiful and twisted so I have to distill through the alambic of my fingers,my ideas over the canvas. Respect me.

I really like having notebooks with basic information written down so I don't have to have my phone always, and don't lose important info due to the whims of the internet. It's also fun, because I associate pancake page with many pleasant mornings at this point.

amazing how grasping this seems in response to someone doing something, how much he needs to be able to rewrite what you saw. the lesson is to do more things

While all you morons were putting cash into your 401ks, I spent my adulthood investing in magic beans. They all laughed at me, but look where we are now. In the post-apocalyptic Hellscape, the one who controls the beans is queen.

I had a long, stressful drive (Snow! Wind! Fog! Flood watches! Tornadoes!), but I listened to Terry Pratchett's "Small Gods," along the way, and now I have silly pissed-off tortoises on the brain. Needed to doodle my anxiety away so a hare as well.

Relatable.

Weird day to be acutely aware of supply lines due to a lifetime of trying to figure out how to make everything. Anxiety like reaching the top of the first roller-coaster hill. This is gonna be weird.

Coyotes singing to ambulance sirens.

I haven't had much finished art to share recently. Working on a comic based on a story my partner told me, which has been rewarding but slow. About to get to inking, so I'll have panels soon. My friend just asked me to turn this opal into a pendant, though. Excited, this'll be fun to stare at!
