Succeeded politically. Not convinced trotting out hot reporter, podcaster, and politician clones is the answer to capturing attention even though I agree that young men have been drawn in to these so-called “father figure” types.

What a way to say that lol. I’ve heard the first part about “dad” before, but not following the approach for “mom” winning. Are there any analogues in history to a remotely similar strategy that succeeded?

Sorry - USSS*

Yep. And there is a reason their acronym is USS, not SS.

Then put it in writing in direct, honest language. Call it what it is and don’t soft-peddle or sanewash it. I would’ve thought reporters would have a field day with this ‘in broad daylight’ shit. Why is this so hard?

"You guys have no idea how hard we're working on stories we'll eventually soft-pedal with cowardly framing topped off with out -of-nowhere references to 2017 stories misleadingly framed in accordance with Trump's wishes"

Yes to all of that. Now cue a bunch of utter douchebags defending Hamas.

Like a one state solution, or allowing other nationalities to become Israeli citizens in general? I don’t think either option is really feasible.

It’s only success to you if they dismantle Israel? Is that what you mean?

So true. Amazing how we go from “elections are secure” to “it was definitely stolen” based on vibes smh

Bullshit that proves what everybody who is not blind knows: you are not one bit better than the MAGA idiots, you may well be even worse.

These are the same morons who say they can get their weather from local TV if National Weather Service is defunded. They have no idea the TV Station gets their info from the NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE!

You can interpret what he’s saying instead of playing these pedantic games.

The publication.

Nice. You go get em’ on that technicality. Also it’s pretty clear they don’t think that by their use of the word “separate”.

I love how 400 years of systemic racism and sexism is fine, but "I am white and don't want to have to get an education in anything relevant but still want everything handed to me on a silver platter and am willing to blow up the world economy so everyone is as fucked as me" - those are real victims.

Unfortunately, it already came and went when the Administration violated, and kept violating, congressionally appropriated funding and federal jobs… not saying this isn’t important, though.

Back when I was a believer it always bothered me that we show up at church once a week and then do absolutely nothing in the world to help. It made us feel like we did something and could be preachy to others about it smh. So unearned.

I agree with that criticism while disagreeing in this case. If the humor is normalizing/sanewashing/meme-ing, that’s harmful. But satire like this, which targets the NYT, I think is important because it is being critical.

You know, i think the best PR job in human history is the idea that conservatives aren’t the weird little deviants of society.

I get where you’re coming from but you just said all generarions are the same in different words lol

The fact that we need a live tracker to keep up with the list of countries’ imports they apply to, the % rate, and what goods (if even specified). And that half the administration can’t seem to keep up either.
