Facebook and social media, the younger generation isn't that much better but they grew up in this shit stream so they have adapted somewhat but Gen X swims with their mouths open and drinks deep.

Like mess because it's trying to fit too much mcu stuff in or it's doing too many new things?

I'm guessing most of the non crazy judges have been waiting and thinking about this shitshow moment since he got back in office. I know I have been and I'm not even a judge.

Not going to rehash all the Trump stuff which is worse then all the shit I listed. Everyone has been telling me my whole adult life that "this" isn’t going to happen in America, but shit just keeps happening…but please tell me one more time, how "this time" it isn’t going to happen in America.

US wouldn't drone strike and kill US citizens abroad whose speech they don’t like, there would never be a Muslim ban, there would never be child separation policy, NAZI's gathering in public will never become routine…

hiring private contractors to do military jobs, setting up a secret prison where we can jail people without due process forever, also bail out banks, hold anybody at all accountable for the biggest global economic collapse in a century, use the Patriot Act to spy on foreign allies and US citizens,

The thing is I started really paying attention to news around 1998 and every year I've heard of some shit that isn't supposed to happen in America but keeps fucking happening. School shootings, invading countries without cause, the VP would never leak false stories to the press to justify a war,

He has pattern behavior where he backs down on unpopular polices? We can see it in real time, as he adds tariffs then pauses them? Are we not suppose to call this out and report on people trying to work around those policy blunders? Should "Don't make the President mad!" be journalistic policy?

This the end goal; hard to do the International part with this - "American staffers at the organization have been warned by its lawyers that they risk arrest if they return home to visit family, according to ICC officials. Six senior officials have left the court over concerns about sanctions."

Pretty good summary. "Microsoft, for example, cancelled Mr Khan's email address, forcing the prosecutor to move to Proton Mail, a Swiss email provider, ICC staffers said. His bank accounts in the UK have been blocked." www.lbc.co.uk/world-news/b...

Everyone around you is talking about it because you're an academic. All news is online, but we don't all live in shared online spaces. Substack newsletters have pumped this story but not everyone walking around is wondering which fascism expert is fleeing the US. Broader coverage is a good thing.

Should I talk to a lawyer before responding to Jerry?

You're thinking civilian and Hasan is thinking content. If he gets questioned and let go, content. If he gets arrested then more content.

They raise the prices in other countries to screw with the figures, then what? Now maybe if he were to open up the patents that would help to alleviate the problem globally but that's never going to happen. So this will just go to courts and nothing will change because there are no laws behind it.

The reason America didn't need to do national military parades in Washington was because the world knew we had power. People saw and felt American power around the globe but we severed all our soft power. So now we fully expose ourselves to the world and let all know that America has weakened.

Ohio as a state cannot function without federal subsidies. Ohio is a state that is mostly just federal money propping up every sector of the state.
