Providing a chill example of how I use this in case it's helpful for others: at home we have a grocery list chat which is different than the main chat. You know it's not urgent when there's a ping there and can keep it mostly muted.

The search was logged in Flock's system as "had an abortion, search for female." This is something reproductive rights experts have warned about for a long time, but now we have evidence that it is actually happening: "it’s shocking to see it, but also it felt inevitable.”

I wrote several letters to my senator about experiences I had, and his staffer eventually wrote back that his office was going to speak with the airport, and now they're no longer forcing people to do it at the gate and understand the opt-out better. Things have really improved over the years! 3/3

When they were first rolling out the ones at the gates in SFO a few years ago, it really felt like I was the only person opting out, and even had to insist it was my right a few times when they told me they'd deny me boarding flights if I didn't accept. I had to do a lot of patient explaining. 2/3

I mostly don't wear perfumes due to health issues, but I can't stop reading the posts on there, they're all sooo fascinating

did they spell her name wrong on the ballot or something? I've just never encountered a political candidate from a major party who I couldn't like find online and read about their campaign
