*half a century*, PBs were first used to treat Precocious Puberty in the early 70s.
The youngest recipient was *3 years old*. 🤷

PBs were always a compromise, because they weren’t going to give HRT so that trans teens could go through puberty with their peers. 🤷
Not only that, frequently PBs were only prescribed *after* trans kids had already been through puberty anyway. 🤷😡

Yup, *all* treatment protocols for trans healthcare were put in place by cisgender medical professionals (some of whom were overtly transphobic & homophobic)
They were literally the *least* they could do to minimise adverse outcomes. 🤷

Because it already has - 3 cisgender female non-whte athletes were blocked from competing in Tokyo because of rules designed to stop trans women competing. 🤷

Transphobia is the intersection of homophobia & misogyny, with added racism & antisemitism.
The idea that trans women are a threat to women is *always* has been misogyny.
Especially as it is fundamentally counter factual, as in many mixed sports women often beat cis men. 🤷

I went to the Download festival recently - 50 K? goths & metalheads, & have never felt so comfortable in a huge crowd of people in my life. 👍
