Understanding that someone's identity - their religious beliefs, their ethnicity, their sexuality, their gender - does not make them *a priori* a threat to society used to be something we did.

Alas, the "Disconnect future activity" tab says
"We'll *disconnect* information that businesses and organisations send us about your interactions with them." - So they continue to build a profile but show random ads. Profiles are used e.g. to select ads for friends / people in the same location.

When I was teaching English we explained it as a special perfect fof "go" to distinguish "He's gone to the shops" (and is still out) from "He's been to the shop" (and come back). Since this is for the perfect explaining the present, it's not relevant to other tenses.
