Do you remember that the double LP went on sale at the (then very) price of 3.99 pounds as The Clash wanted to keep it affordable.

Israel and Turkey both barging in on Syria's liberation day by bombing the country from the air. Pathetic attention seeking.

Just sad that on this momentous day for Syria, Turkey and Israel have to barge in on the party and drop bombs on Syria. Pathetic attention seeking.

I have been in touch with a family in Idlib for the past five years and have seen how life under HTS has brought peace and (relative) prosperity to the area. Gives me hope for the future for the rest of Syria.

I finally managed to read the (very interesting article) on my mobile. Thanks. I am interested to see you mention Russia being involved in Somaliland. I was born there and returned to visit 19 years ago, but was not aware that the Russians are involved. Do you have any links to refer me to?

Great news, a peaceful rebellion. Let;s hope it stays that way with the transfer of power.

Oh I see. Not exactly relevant in the case of Syria, I suppose. Assad was more against the Syrian people than against the US.

Very interesting. Thanks. I suppose I could have looked it up myself but that you for replying.

Yes, I totally get that, but a trial would be much better than a miserable hanging. In my view.
