Ph, pffffttt.... I once set a chicken dish I was cooking on fire. Later I claimed it was all part of the plan. Yep, the trick is to turn a disaster into French cooking.

What I find hard to understand is why in the richest country in the world (apparently) our teachers have to buy school supplies!

Well, he looks better in the painting than in real life. When I have the misfortune of glimpsing him on TV it rather looks like an over-yeasted dough ball.

Holy cow, that's terrible! Well, as a fan, let me try to cheer you up a little bit by saying that I just finished "Witch King". WOW! loved it. Thank you.

I have seen pretty much every "Dr. Who" episode from #1 through the Jody Whitaker ones. Unfortunately, the current Dr. Who is embargoed on, what, Apple TV or something. I am hoping some day it will be made available to the rest of the world.

And yet, if the felon-in-chief, tax-cheater-extraordinaire, liar-of-liars, crotch-grabber-orange-headed buffoon were to show up he'd get a top-notch welcome. Sick, sick, Virginia.

Those Irwin Allen shows were pretty cool. I always watched "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" although I felt bad for Kowalski. He was always getting attacked by monsters and such.

You were not rude. I was trained, so to speak, on Aronson, Appia, Loquasto, even to a degree Musser and Fisher. So if somebody said, "Oh, reminds me of ..." that's training. But if they say, "Looks exactly like ..." that's copying. I dislike copying intensely. AI must only replace my pencil not copy

Yes, there are people pretending to be writers, artists, and even scientists. It is getting pretty bad.

Agreed! I spent many years as a designer and graphic artist. I would be very disappointed if somebody "swiped" my stuff. I have had photos "stolen", so to speak, and used on Web sites without my permission. I am sensitive to that issue. I have avoided using AI material that is clearly questionable.

AI makes up for my lack of ability with a pencil. I "see" what I want to draw in my mind's eye, but when I try to move that down to my hand it gets stuck at my elbow. It is very hard on my elbow.
