I think that's what @hubnut.bsky.social might call a poor wiping performance πŸ˜‚

The one with the Luton body does not look like it'd be fun in a cross wind πŸ˜‚

Thankfully it was a piano-free zone.

Wow, that's awful. What is wrong with people?

You should have popped round for a cup of tea and Rover 75 chat while you were in the area πŸ˜‚ I'm intrigued as to what it's going to look like underneath, left us on a cliff-hanger!

Plus some Metros, because it'd be rude not to! #WeirdCarBS

Very nice, definitely my favourite colour for these and I love those wheels.

That's very cool

The blue exterior with tan interior looked great.

The 75 ticked over 69,000 miles on the way home, and we spotted an American-spec #Ford Focus saloon, which seemed fitting having watched this week's @hubnut.bsky.social test drive video this morning. Photos not taken by me, obviously.

My grandparents replaced their Austin Maestro with one of these.

There's a red one for sale near me with a roll cage in it.

I'm always in awe of people who can remember that sort of detail 😊

We did go and look at one with the Aubergine interior before buying this one, which was fantastic, but was too much of a project for me.

I love all the little nuances you get with cars as they change over time.

The final facelift wasn't great, which is funny when you consider how good the facelift of the Mk2 Clio was.

That should be 2 facelifts/3 phases obviously 🀦

Now we're getting into some real geekery, I didn't even know this car had 3 facelifts, I only remembered the last one. Love it!

That is good Renault Clio knowledge 😊

I'm not sure if it was Papa or Nicole who dropped it off. Papa had the 5-door didn't he?

I'm glad she found a new home 😊

I wonder why they didn't use the Granada's rear lights.

Oh I am super jealous! I really want one, but I have nowhere to put it and should be saving my money for sensible things like a new bathroom πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

In terms of successful facelifts, I'm going to stay on brand and suggest the #Rover P6. Quite a limited one, but I love the egg-crate grille and I think the strips down the sides really change the look of the car for the better. What are your favourite facelifts #WeirdCarBS?

Do we know anyone with a CityRover for a comparison?

The world was better with MSN Messenger in it.

That's a lovely colour.

What Renault/Nissan does it share a platform with? Is it the Scenic/ARIYA or is it something new?
comment in response to post
From that angle you can tell it comes from the same company as the CityRover.

I think it could really do with a better algorithm for the "Discover" feed, people aren't used to having to go and search for content now, they're used to the machines learning what they like and showing it to them. I like posting here though and reading what others post 😊

Hmm I don't know, @sionhudson.bsky.social is the resident @bsky.app base model expert.

It would make excellent transport to #FOTU.

That's so wrong, I love it πŸ˜‚

Did you upgrade the stereo?
comment in response to post
Was that due to the extreme lightness coming from it having no standard equipment? Haha.
comment in response to post
Wow, that's absolutely appalling. Nobody deserves that πŸ˜”

I think the 925 was my favourite, just a nice size/weight phone.
