It took me *years* to get around to reading it, and I'm glad I did. Sent me down a rabbit hole to learn more about French politics in the 50s/60s.

Figuring out dinner is one of the worst things about adulthood. No one tells you youâre going to have to do this for the rest of your life. Ugh.

Seems odd to me that RW folks would prize JRRT that way, given the whole âpeoples banding together to defeat a would-be tyrantâ thing.
ButâŚdonât like grimdark? Donât like romantasy? Ok. SoâŚread something else then ffs.
I know, I know, the performative outrage is the point etc. Ugh.

Thatâs sounds cool. I had the first edition and leaned towards Canadians (like me) or other non-US NATO members. Hell, even a Czech who was still mad about â68.

I still have the Imperial March (aka the Darth Vader theme) play when my ex calls.
Itâs just for the lol, really. My ex is a lovely person.

A few years back I ran D&D 5e for my kid and his neighbour pals (all around 11 or 12) on the back deck after school on Fridays. Chaotic but so much fun. To this day we still talk about Jeff the half-orc and Tim, the surfer goblin NPC.

I really liked Fallout 4. Certain parts of the fandom like to complain about it (ugh, game fans l), but I had a good time.

Gen X here, and I agree: BlueSky's nice. Don't like it? So...don't use it then. Go do anything else.
I have the same reaction to people who complain about the games they play (sometimes for 100s of hours if not longer). OK, Game X doesn't work for you. Have you tried not playing it?
