Sarky, not snarky. Human factors professional, with side interest in Dobcross looms, European train journeys, MG cars, and finding footpaths in Mid Wales. Occasionally dabbles in Anglican liturgy, although it's probably best not to ask.

Definitely only one, which was in a smaller room away from the main hall/ballroom. It did, however have a big window. ISTR it being said that police clearance had been required.

He must have paid the Italian navy a hefty fee to hire the Arsenale: it's still a front line base.

I really hope that the "medical examination" wasn't intrusive or traumatic for her.

Probably not much.

It might not have included being attacked by bunker busting massive ordnance. I wonder if the Americans have conducted such an assessment of the possibilities and consequences of such an attack. 2/2

Is that real? I mean, it could be genuine, but it might be a parody.

No promises, but it would depend upon the manner in which I could become accustomed.

I've not followed in Great detail, but there was the original bill, with three possible ammendments. So it was likely that one version or other was going to pass this hurdle.

But he'd like you to. And the normal form of address is simply "Sir". Or "Ma'am" for the Queen.

We have simple tastes out here. Mocking day trippers who complain to the parish council is one of them!

In my mind, I have thi lovely little cottage AS WELL AS the house with the book cases. Somewhere that I can retreat to when the world gets a bit too much. I'd go there with a small travelling book case, of course.

Would it actually make any difference at this point? I mean, I totally get the principle of the thing, but it is highly unlikely to overturn the vote of the electoral college.

The reason that Bourton on the water exists is to keep day trippers away from the _genuinely_ nice parts of the Cotswold. See also: Bibury.

Aside from the photo of the "old pub" with lounges named Brahms and Liszt (I seriously doubt those signs are much more than 20 years old), it seems a generally competent article, aimed at a specific market.

Stroud is a bit hippy / floaty and tends to favour the protest vote. Probably why we always flip between blue and red MPs at every election.
