We stand with the aggressor, we stand with genocidal maniacs, we stand with a murdering rogue state
We are no better that them

I disagree. Social expressive innovation (mods rockers punk new fashions etc) historically have all come out of times when Labour were in government. Tory and all right wing politics is about conformaty rather than individual self expression

Don't forget that the USA won WW1 as well, if it wasn't for America, Trump has claimed that we would all be "speaking Japanese" ??

I think Crustyfeet is saying that the genocide by Israel is basing its actions on it's "right to defend itself". Compared to when the Nazis annihilated of the population of Warsaw, hence, "were the Nazis defending themselves" No of course they weren't, another historic genocide

Question: Why does Farage get more publicity with just 5 MPs, when the LibDems who have 72?
Answer: Because people post about his every idiotic move he makes that keeps him in the public eye. Please don't moan about the BBC if you are going to post about him.
Out of sight WILL be out of mind

Wherever his name appears (blue sky included) it reinforces his presence. Most Americans think he is PM already (as opposed to MP)

Question: Why does Farage get more publicity with just 5 MPs, than Greens who have 4 MPs or particularly the LibDems who have 72?

Absolutely, couldn't agree more. However, I am recovering from a breast cancer op and have to rely on others helping, plus the 4 or 5 weeks after the initial diagnosis I didn't get to the plot very much. So a bit of a salvage operation this summer, but will have amazing runner beans

So, on Wednesday, I had a mastectomy and lymph nodes removed. Operation went well and no reason to think that any of it got left behind,
So gentlemen, if you spot anything a bit strange, get it checked out

Anyway, long story short, a small lump developed behind my nipple so got it checked out, ultrasound scans and biopsies followed, sure enough, I had Breast Cancer. CT scan followed and luckily it hadn’t spread but had wriggled it’s way into me lymph nodes.

In the UK only about 400 men a year are diagnosed with breast cancer (as opposed to about 56.000 women) so it is rare, but it does happen.

I'm 73 and can remember before all the 1960s influx, I think we are a richer nation for it. If Starmer wants to tackle anything, it should be WHY millions of people are choosing to leave their home countries

We are not angry about immigration, Britain is built on immigration, we are The Borg, we assimilate, it's what we do.
We are angry that the Labour Party has embraced the Reform agenda as well as "Ghost of Thatcher Past" and become Blue Labour

I knew it was a Navel thing. "when a small flag was mounted on the front of a warship (and a selected number of other ships) it was called 'the Jack'. Sometime around 1674 the British flag became formally known as the 'Union Jack' when mounted on a warship and the ship was not in harbour."
