Yes, that's a photo of a labyrinth I stumbled across walking a Cretan hillside.

This was, by far, the most useful reply I’ve had so far. And, coincidentally, the only one.

Huh. I’ve never known Norm to “lash out” but I suppose anything is possible.

Why does Norm need to catch strays here?

Yes with a strong preference to visit family over independent trips.

I think what I’m feeling is that they appear focused on capturing something to remember later, whereas, I think I want to be in the moment, connect with others, and take away lessons for the future. I don’t travel “to make a memory”, which feels… passive? Am I taking crazy pills? /2

Theresa and Kate put so much effort in their work. It only feels fair that you should at least have to visit the local library branch to read their ending!

I appreciate that offers folks some bright lines, but I’m sympathetic with the comments replying that past those lines might be too late. In any case, it would be a shame if you all had to discover that after the fact.

Can’t recall if it was here or the other place but I stumbled upon a rather snobbish thread trashing Live and their fans. At some point, I just thought “Can’t we just accept not everyone likes what we like?” Somehow we live in a world that includes Nickleback and the sun still rises each morning.

I should be straight with you. What I read was about a dragon in Scotland. It's origins are murky so it may not technically be a "Scottish" dragon. It also wasn't very well-liked by the local villagers, just so you know.

Hilary, is there a piece you've read and like that explains what the Ideal Defunded World looks like? As someone who prefers working backwards from an ideal state to inform the steps required in the present, I'd love to read what we'd all be aiming for! tyvm!

Can we just infill all the at-grade parking lots downtown, put in narrow robotic multi-floor parking garages like Japan has had for decades, and generally build up in the core?

*A transit blockade that is.

Sure, but better those with power and wealth feel the discomfort first and more intensely. In Toronto you can grab the attention of Rosedale, Leslieville, and Roncy residents. Here, it won’t really register with those it needs to register with!
